Artist Statement This painting came from surrender. I felt as if I wasn’t creating it, but allowing it to come through me. Water became my guide—sometimes gentle, sometimes heavy, always embracing. Whispers Beneath the Blue was born out of a silent dialogue with parts of myself that have no words, only weight. I wanted to express that sensation of floating between consciousness and the subconscious, between what is seen and what can only be felt. Shapes appear and fade like memories caught between dimensions. This piece is an invitation to look inward, to listen to what has been silent for too long, and to allow the blue to cleanse, to ache, and to return us to the center.
